I tried photographing the sunset at Mornington last night, overlooking the marina, but the clouds came in and covered the horizon, so I had to take matters into my own hands.
By coincidence, I’d recently changed my iPhone lock screen to a sunrise shot I took 12 months ago, when I got my phone out to check the official sunset time I had this great idea.

Yesterday I took 10 year old Brad to his first cricket match. It was Day 3 of the Melbourne Ashes Test Match at the MCG. Like most cricket matches, there were a few slow periods, but Brad enjoyed the day and wants to go again!

I’m a big fan of Flickr, the photo sharing web site from Yahoo! and have uploaded over 5000 photos since joining in 2007. I often embed photos hosted on Flickr to this, and my other blogs.
Today Flickr announced changes to their embedding code so that additional info is shown, and readers can scroll through other photos from the embedded image.
This post is simply to test out what happens when the new code is used, so below is a picture of my daughter, embedded from Flickr .
I was a little worried when I first heard about this, but I see the old HTML option is still available, so we can choose how we embed photos, so I give this a thumbs up!

Last month I took my younger son (10 year old Brad) on a road trip to Broken Hill and Peterborough.
