This week, my 11 year old son took part in a junior skills programme with the Essendon Football Club (AFL – Aussie Rules).  I was there, with my trusty Nikon D5100 and 300mm zoom lens, along with my wife and 5 year old daughter, braving the cold rain.

My son had a great time, and I got a few good pics of him with the footy.  I’m also happy with this cute picture of my wife and daughter on the sidelines, under the umbrella.

My gallery of shots from the day can be found here… www.simonsphotosite.com/2014/Footy-Skills-Clinic (or the archive here).
