Last weekend I was photographing the sunset from Grantville, on Western Port Bay. This week I found myself across the bay at Hastings, capturing the sunrise from the local Marina. As my bad luck with cloud cover on the horizon continues, there was only a brief moment where the sky turned bright pink before the sun was hidden again, but I’m still happy with the results.
(In-between shots, my son and I had a bit of fun skimming rocks on the otherwise mirror smooth water.)
