Broken Hill

Normally I’ll write in this blog about my recent photographic activity, but today I’m writing about a couple of road trips I’ve taken to Broken Hill, in Western New South Wales (Australia).  I took my eldest son for a long weekend in November 2012, and my younger son, almost a year later, for a week in October 2013.  (In the second trip, we came home the long way via Peterborough in South Australia.)

The Broken Hill and Silverton areas are home for many artists who find inspiration in the Outback landscape.  As a hobby photographer, I could easily spend weeks (or months / years !!??) in the area exploring and taking many, many photos.

Originally uploaded to Flickr, the two links below are for the galleries I’ve imported these photos to in my (SmugMug) Photo Site.
