Sorrento iPhone Panorama

Despite having a good DSLR camera, I take a lot of photos with my iPhone 5S because it’s always with me.  Last week I was in Sorrento (on the Mornington Peninsula) for work and had my morning break on the beach looking over Port Phillip Bay.  Being almost Winter, there wasn’t too many people around the water front, so I was able to capture this wide shot of both the ferry terminal and Sorrento Pier using the iPhone’s Panorama mode.

Sorrento is a lovely place, and I might just have to go back with the good camera before the Summer crowds flock to the beach.

iPhone Panorama at Flinders

I found myself at Flinders (on the Mornington Peninsula, Australia) for work this morning and couldn’t help but notice the view across Western Port Bay towards Phillip Island.  I snapped a few quick pictures with my iPhone, including this iOS Panorama (touched up in Microsoft Photo Gallery).

I’m definitely going to come back with the DSLR for some sunrise photography.

UPDATE 19 April 2014:
I’ve been back to Flinders with my Nikon D5100 for some early morning photography.
See the gallery on my Photo Site.
