Once again, I didn’t do so well with my racing tips. I tipped numbers 4 and 8 in the Cox Plate, but they came home in 6th and 7th.
Well done to number 11, Adelaide, who came from behind, around the outside of the pack, to take the victory.

Yesterday’s Caulfield Cup was run and won, with my tips way back in the results. I tipped numbers 9 and 13 to get the quinella (first and second), but instead they ran 7th and 12th. Oh well, I guess that’s why we are always being told to gamble responsibly. Thankfully I only blew $10 on the race.

When the Melbourne Cup rolls around in a couple of weeks, I should probably spend more time with the form guide, but it’s always hard to tip a winner from the strong field of international horses.
