Stock photography – first attempt
I thought I’d try my hand at stock photography, which is basically submitting images you own to an agency to sell on your behalf. (The Wikipedia entry on Stock Photography explains the concept well). Signing up to Shutterstock, I submitted 10 photos I’d taken in the SIlverton area over the past couple of years, but to their reviewer’s eyes all were out of focus and rejected. I’m not sure how they came to that conclusion, nor do I agree with some of the other feedback (who would have thought standard road signs would be a trade mark violation?!
Anyway, I’ll let the dust settle and try again soon.
