Earlier this year Telstra customers started getting “Bonus Data” on their home internet plan. Friends and family were getting the data cap on their ADSL plans increased for no extra charge. Those on a 100GB plan were increased to 200GB, those on a 200GB plan ere increased to 500GB – all at no extra charge. My ADSL plan had a 500GB cap, but no increase.
When I enquired with Telstra why we didn’t get the “Bonus Data”, they said we would, but those on the big plans already will be last to get the increase.
This month we got the “Bonus Data” increase, an extra 500GB – meaning we now have a 1TB (terabyte) data cap. Thank you Telstra!
